Renter's spouse or partner who meets the same age and driver's license requirements as Renter are licensed drivers at no additional charge. All additional authorized drivers must be present at time of rental and meet age and driver's license requirements. An additional fee of $15 per day for each additional authorized driver will be added to the rental cost, unless other contractual terms apply.

A spouse or common-law partner is the only additional driver allowed on a debit card-guaranteed rental.

US Rentals: Most US rental vehicles can be driven in the US and Canada. Some classes of vehicles, such as exotics, large passengers, or trucks and other specialty vehicles, may not be allowed outside of the United States. Please contact the rental station directly for details on international restrictions.

Most places do not allow travel to Mexico. If you plan to travel to Mexico, you will need to purchase additional insurance to cover your vehicle during your stay in Mexico. Please contact the branch directly for restrictions and availability.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW is optional and not required to rent a vehicle.

Optionally, you can purchase CDW for an additional fee. If you purchase CDW, we contractually agree to waive responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to, loss of, or theft of the vehicle, subject to actions set forth in the Rental Agreement that void CDW. DW does not apply to damages caused in Mexico.

When deciding whether or not to purchase CDW, you should check with your insurance agent or credit card company to determine if you have coverage or protection for such damage or theft in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle and the amount of the deductible or excess. risk.

*For rentals originating in California, CDW ranges from $10.99 to $500.00 per day, depending on the type of vehicle rented.

For retail rentals covered only with extended protection within the cost of the rental (excluding any liability coverage or insurance coverage provided in a commercial contract):

Extended Protection (EP) (if available): Owner will provide Renter or any AAD with liability coverage equal to the minimum financial responsibility applicable to the Vehicle (the Primary Protection). EP also provides additional liability coverage through an excess policy with limits on the difference between the primary insurance and an individual combined limit of $1 million per accident for personal injury and/or property damage to third parties resulting from the use or the operation of the vehicle leased by the owner. the lessee or an AAD, subject to the terms of the policy. EP includes UM/UIM coverage for bodily injury and property (only when required by law for property damage) equal to the minimum financial responsibility applicable to the vehicle (the primary protection) and additional coverage per deductible with limits on the difference between the legal minimum and US minimum limit of $100,000 per accident (for rentals in New York, UM/UIM limits are $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident; for rentals in Hawaii, UM/UIM limits are $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident; UIM are $100,000 per accident 1,000,000) or the state-mandated UM/UIM limit, whichever is greater. As a customer, you can choose how you want to pay for fuel.

Option 1 - Prepaid Fuel: This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank at the time of the lease and return the empty tank. Pricing is based on an estimate of current fuel prices and the average tank size of the car received. Unused gas will not be refunded.

Option 2 - We recharge. --This option allows the renter to pay Alamo at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices.

Option 3 - Refills. --This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid additional fuel charges.

Customers residing in the United States, US Territories, or Canada

Customers residing in the United States, US Territories, or Canada must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued driver's license that includes a photograph of the customer. Digital licenses are not accepted. Driver's license must be valid for the entire rental period.

Members of the United States Armed Forces who are on active duty may present an expired license from the home state under the following conditions:

• They also provide active military identification and

• They adhere to the military extension policy of the state that issued the license. These policies vary by state and customers are encouraged to contact the appropriate Department of Motor Vehicles for more information.

Customers traveling to the United States and Canada from other countries

It is important that customers check with the appropriate transit authority in the state or province in which they intend to travel to ensure compliance with their various registration laws. Digital licenses are not accepted. The following practices are used to ensure that the client presents a valid driver's license at the time of rental.

Customers traveling to the United States and Canada from another country must present:

• The driving license of the country of origin, in force and in force and with photograph, and

• If the driver's license from the country of origin is in a language other than English (or French, which is rented in Canada) and the lettering is in English (ie German, Spanish, etc.), a driver's license is recommended. International driver's license for translation purposes, but not required beyond the home country's license.

• Clients cannot rent a vehicle using the International Driving Permit alone. The international driver's license is a translation of the driver's license from the person's country of origin and is not considered a valid driver's license or identification document.

• In some US locations, customers who do not have a US driver's license may be required to provide additional documentation. Examples of this could be a valid passport or, in certain states (AZ, CA, CO, NM, TX), a valid Mexican voter ID and/or entry and exit documents.
  
• In some Canadian locations, customers without a Canadian driver's license may be required to provide additional valid government-issued documentation. Examples of this could be a valid passport.

Other requirements

• Photocopies of driving licenses will not be accepted.

• Student licenses are not accepted.

• Any license that, prima facie, restricts the licensee to the use and operation of a vehicle equipped with some type of breathalyzer will not be accepted.

• Temporary driver's licenses may be refused if the rental location is unable to verify the customer's identity or verify the authenticity of the temporary driver's license. Additional official identification may be required.

RENTER REQUIREMENTS AND PAYMENT POLICY

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS POLICY

All renters and additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age. All renters must have a valid driver's license and a credit or debit card in their name. Persons with a teaching or learning permit do not have the right to rent. This is only a summary. See the Driver's License Information Policy for more details.

TO ALTER

The underage surcharge for drivers ages 21-24 is $25 per day. Renters ages 21-24 may rent the following vehicle classes: economy to full-size, cargo and minivans, compact, economy and standard minivans, trucks and SUVs that seat up to 5 passengers.

DEBIT

Debit cards are not accepted at airports at the time of rental unless accompanied by a reserved return itinerary. The name and address on the renter's driver's license must match the current home address. Active duty military personnel are exempt from the residency requirement.

Additional drivers other than the renter's spouse or common-law partner are not permitted.

If a debit card is used for amounts owed, the Available Balance in the account associated with Renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. In addition, the renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.

INSURANCE CHECK

At time of rental, renters who have not booked a return itinerary must present a Transferable Auto Accident Policy, Collision Damage Waiver, and Third Party Liability Policy for the following vehicle classes: Luxury Sedan Full Size, Premium Luxury Sedan, Midsize Sport Luxury Sedan, and Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Enhanced Luxury SUV, Luxury Electric SUV, Limousine Van, and Corvette.

Debit

The estimated total rental amount on the "Review & Book" screen and/or in the booking confirmation email will be charged to the payment method provided by the renter. If the rent reserved is changed, the total estimated rental amount may change and will still be charged through the payment method provided by the renter.

At the time of rental, Renter will sign a rental agreement (the "Agreement") that applies to the rental and includes a Rental Agreement Summary and additional terms and conditions.

DEPOSIT AMOUNT

To pay Renter for any additional amounts due under the Agreement, Renters without a reserved round-trip itinerary must place a security deposit of USD 300 or USD 850 for the following vehicle classes: Performance Sport, Luxury full size SUV, luxury electric SUV, Elite full electric midsize sedan, sport midsize luxury sedan, full size luxury sedan, premium luxury sedan, electric luxury sedan, premium luxury SUV, upgraded luxury SUV, limousine van and Corvette.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Debit cards are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a round-trip itinerary.

The renter must use a payment method listed above for the deposit amount. The deposit amount will only be available to the renter after the vehicle is returned and/or the renter will be refunded.

If Renter incurs additional fees under the Agreement, these additional fees may be deducted from Renter's security deposit, if applicable. If these additional amounts are not deducted from the deposit amount, they will be charged to the form of payment provided by Renter at the time of rental, unless Renter provides another form of payment to be collected as set forth above.

If a debit card is used for any of the above amounts, the available balance in the account associated with the renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. In addition, the renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.

Money orders and prepaid cards are not accepted forms of payment at the time of rental, including the deposit amount, but can be used to pay any amounts due at the end of the rental when returning the vehicle. Cash is not accepted.

In addition to any of the payment methods listed above, credit cards with sufficient available funds listed in the renter's profile or loyalty account (Emerald Club, E Club, etc.) will be accepted as payment for all amounts due under the Contract.

All amounts owed by Renter under the Agreement shall be presented (a) as an authorization to hold and make a final charge to Renter's credit or debit card or (b) to charge Renter's debit card.

Our TollPass program is our electronic toll collection program that allows our tenants to drive through electronic toll lanes and pay tolls electronically without having to stop and pay cash. Additionally, many toll booths have switched to full electronic toll collection, removing the option for travelers to stop at toll booths and pay cash.
