Renter's spouse or partner who meets the same age and driver's license requirements as Renter are licensed drivers at no additional charge. All additional authorized drivers must be present at time of rental and meet age and driver's license requirements. An additional fee of $15 per day for each additional authorized driver will be added to the rental cost, unless other contractual terms apply.
A spouse or common-law partner is the only additional driver allowed on a debit card-guaranteed rental.
If you return after hours, our Alamo Key Deposit is conveniently located outside the main entrance. Remove all personal items from the vehicle and drop the keys in the box.

This reservation is made with a contract identification number (CID) assigned to a corporate account for the exclusive use of authorized renters. Use of this CID by anyone other than an authorized renter is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action. Renters using this CID may be required to provide proof of employment or credentials (eg, business card, current email address with company domain, work order, etc.). Questions about acceptable proof of employment or authorization should be directed to your travel manager.
US Rentals: Most US rental vehicles can be driven in the US and Canada. Some classes of vehicles, such as exotics, large passengers, or trucks and other specialty vehicles, may not be allowed outside of the United States. Most places do not allow travel to Mexico. If you plan to travel to Mexico, you will need to purchase additional insurance to cover your vehicle during your stay in Mexico. Please contact the branch directly for restrictions and availability.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW is optional and not required to rent a vehicle.
Optionally, you can purchase CDW for an additional fee. If you purchase CDW, we contractually agree to waive responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to, loss of, or theft of the vehicle, subject to actions set forth in the Rental Agreement that void CDW. DW does not apply to damages caused in Mexico.

As a customer, you can choose how you want to pay for fuel.
Option 1 - Prepaid Fuel: This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank at the time of the lease and return the empty tank. Pricing is based on an estimate of current fuel prices and the average tank size of the car received. Unused gas will not be refunded.
Option 2 - We recharge. --This option allows the renter to pay Alamo at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices.
Option 3 - Refills. --This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid additional fuel charges.
Customers residing in the United States, US Territories, or Canada
Customers residing in the United States, US Territories, or Canada must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued driver's license that includes a photograph of the customer. Digital licenses are not accepted. Driver's license must be valid for the entire rental period.
Members of the United States Armed Forces who are on active duty may present an expired license from the home state under the following conditions:

It is important that customers check with the appropriate transit authority in the state or province in which they intend to travel to ensure compliance with their various registration laws. Any license that, prima facie, restricts the licensee to the use and operation of a vehicle equipped with some type of breathalyzer will not be accepted.
Temporary driver's licenses may be refused if the rental location is unable to verify the customer's identity or verify the authenticity of the temporary driver's license. Additional official identification may be required.

Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) is offered at time of rental for an additional daily fee. If accepted, the PEC contained in the policy will insure the personal belongings of the renter, additional drivers or anyone traveling with the renter against the risk of loss or damage. Benefits are paid in addition to any other insurance coverage of the Renter or Passengers. This is only a summary. PEC is subject to the provisions, limitations and exclusions of the PEC policy underwritten by Empire Fire and Marine Insurance Company of the United States. The purchase of the PEC is optional and not mandatory to rent a car. The coverage provided by the PEC may duplicate the Renter's existing coverage. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS POLICY
All renters and additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age. All renters must have a valid driver's license and a credit or debit card in their name. Persons with a teaching or learning permit do not have the right to rent. This is only a summary. See the Driver's License Information Policy for more details.
The underage surcharge for drivers ages 21-24 is $25 per day. Renters ages 21-24 may rent the following vehicle classes: economy to full-size, cargo and minivans, compact, economy and standard minivans, trucks and SUVs that seat up to 5 passengers.
Debit cards are not accepted at airports at the time of rental unless accompanied by a reserved return itinerary. The name and address on the renter's driver's license must match the current home address. Active duty military personnel are exempt from the residency requirement.
Additional drivers other than the renter's spouse or common-law partner are not permitted.
If a debit card is used for amounts owed, the Available Balance in the account associated with Renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. In addition, the renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.

The estimated total rental amount on the "Review & Book" screen and/or in the booking confirmation email will be charged to the payment method provided by the renter. If the rent reserved is changed, the total estimated rental amount may change and will still be charged through the payment method provided by the renter.
At the time of rental, Renter will sign a rental agreement (the "Agreement") that applies to the rental and includes a Rental Agreement Summary and additional terms and conditions.
To pay Renter for any additional amounts due under the Agreement, Renters without a reserved round-trip itinerary must place a security deposit of USD 300 or USD 850 for the following vehicle classes: Performance Sport, Luxury full size SUV, luxury electric SUV, Elite full electric midsize sedan, sport midsize luxury sedan, full size luxury sedan, premium luxury sedan, electric luxury sedan, premium luxury SUV, upgraded luxury SUV, limousine van and Corvette.
Debit cards are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a round-trip itinerary.
The renter must use a payment method listed above for the deposit amount. The deposit amount will only be available to the renter after the vehicle is returned and/or the renter will be refunded.
If Renter incurs additional fees under the Agreement, these additional fees may be deducted from Renter's security deposit, if applicable. If these additional amounts are not deducted from the deposit amount, they will be charged to the form of payment provided by Renter at the time of rental, unless Renter provides another form of payment to be collected as set forth above.
If a debit card is used for any of the above amounts, the available balance in the account associated with the renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. In addition, the renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.
Money orders and prepaid cards are not accepted forms of payment at the time of rental, including the deposit amount, but can be used to pay any amounts due at the end of the rental when returning the vehicle. Cash is not accepted.
In addition to any of the payment methods listed above, credit cards with sufficient available funds listed in the renter's profile or loyalty account (Emerald Club, E Club, etc.) will be accepted as payment for all amounts due under the Contract.
All amounts owed by Renter under the Agreement shall be presented (a) as an authorization to hold and make a final charge to Renter's credit or debit card or (b) to charge Renter's debit card.
See the Renter Requirements section of this policy (above) for more details on debit card use and general rental requirements at this location.
Renter may purchase Roadside Plus (RSP) from Owner for an additional fee. If Renter purchases the RSP, then, subject to actions voiding the Collision Damage Waiver, Owner contractually agrees to hold Renter harmless for the cost of providing 24-hour roadside assistance (if available) to replace Lost Keys (including remote access devices) included. Roadside assistance (if the spare tire is not full, the vehicle will be towed. The cost of the spare tire is not covered by the RSP), left luggage service (if the keys are locked in the vehicle), auxiliary exit service and fuel delivery up to 3 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel when the vehicle runs out of fuel. Roadside Plus services are only available in the US and Canada. If the renter does not purchase RSP or RSP is canceled as described above, roadside assistance will be available but standard charges will apply. RSP is not applicable in Mexico. Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily fee. If accepted, SLP will provide Renter and Authorized Drivers with a combined individual limit of up to $300,000 for Third Party Liability Claims. If renter accepts the SLP, Alamo will provide liability coverage up to the applicable minimum financial responsibility limit and Zurich American Insurance Company will provide liability coverage from the applicable minimum financial responsibility limit up to $300,000. This is only a summary. SLP is subject to the terms, conditions, provisions, limitations and exclusions of the Supplemental Rental Liability Insurance Deductible Policy purchased from Zurich American Insurance Company. The purchase of SLP is optional and not required to rent a car. The coverage provided by the SLP may duplicate the Renter's existing coverage.
